The Sales Trifecta

There are three sales techniques in the sales trifecta… obvs 😂

These three things are simple to do, but we guarantee the majority of you aren’t doing all of them regularly. But you should if you want to close more sales… even put them in your diary.

Number 1. Call a potential client

We guarantee that everyone has someone they could call right now and close a sale with. Everyone, even you!

Think about past clients, people you’ve met at events, someone that always clicks on your emails, someone you’ve been talking to on social media, and the ‘I’m not ready yet’ list of people.

It’s time to go back to ALL these people and send them a little message that says, “Hey, I think you’d be perfect for a new thing we’re doing, wondered if you’re free tomorrow to hop on the phone to talk about it?”

Simple as that.

Closing the sale on the phone is the most effective way but if you’re not comfortable with that, here are two other ideas that don’t involve using the phone ☎️

Number 2. Ask for referrals

The second part of the trifecta is to ask your current clients, your audience, even your family and friends, if they know anyone who’d be interested in your services.

Can you ask for introductions, or a name to reach out to, or even just a tag on a post?

You can add incentives and affiliate rewards if you want but it doesn’t need to be that complicated right now.

Try it, ask for referrals and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Number 2. Email

Email is the best way to sell on scale and yet not many of us really maximise it, even with a small list.

Try the ‘One More Method’ and send one more sales email than you naturally feel comfortable with. Time after time we find this final extra email sells the most.

Now for a final tip to make everything more effective…

Bonus tip: Create a sense of urgency

The best tactic for getting people over the fence is creating a sense of time urgency.

This can be really slimy and inauthentic, and people do it really badly… but just because other people do something badly doesn’t mean you can’t do it well, and genuinely.

Remember that!

So, can you offer either a bonus, a discount, or a last chance to buy, that you’re only going to offer before a certain date?
